Bees

Our second theme was on the importance of bees. It was decided to study bees because there are lots about at the moment, as well as wasps and students wanted to kill them as they were being stung.

The lessons focused on the difference between a wasp, a honey bee and a bumble bee. We labelled the parts of a bee and looked at the life cycle. We also watched a video about why bees are important and also looked at a new invention for the bee hive.
